Dear colleagues,
I am pleased to invite you to the 19th Korea-Japan Joint Meeting of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (KJJM 2024) held from March 20
th to 22
nd, 2024, at the Lotte Hotel World in Seoul, Korea. The joint meeting has been held biannually, alternating between Korea and Japan, since its first meeting in 1986 in Seoul, Korea. We are excited to hold the KJJM 2024 again as a face-to-face offline meeting after 6 years due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The KJJM 2024 will feature keynote lectures and symposiums with distinguished speakers from Japan and Korea to exchange cutting-edge knowledge and experiences through oral and poster presentations and share friendships. In addition, the scientific committee will form academic programs that incorporate key educational and scientific contents across topics, including otology, rhinology, head & neck, pediatrics, sleep/sleep-disordered breathing, laryngology, skull base, thyroid/parathyroid, facial plastics, salivary gland, vestibular/neurology, and related research. I am confident that KJJM 2024 will create a lasting legacy of collaboration in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery for Korea and Japan.
The congress venue, Lotte Hotel World in Jamsil, Seoul, is nearby scenic trails such as Seokchon Lake, Olympic Park, and the 123-story Lotte World Tower. The location is also easily accessible by public transportation, such as the subway and bus, from anywhere in Seoul.
While overcoming the challenges posed by COVID-19, I hope this in-person meeting will provide a lively atmosphere for academic interaction and friendship for the first time after 6 years.
I am looking forward to seeing you all at the KJJM 2024.
Kyung Tae
President, KJJM 2024
